JJB is run by Jan Jacob Borstlap.
Originally educated as a product designer at the TU Delft (1987-1993), and after working in product design at TNO Industry, he developed his skills in graphic and environmental design at BRS Premsela Vonk, Amsterdam, now Eden Design & Communication (1995-2001).
There, he worked on the design of exhibitions for NEMO Science Centre, Amsterdam and for the Museum of Natural History in Enschede, signage for the renovated Olympic Stadium, Amsterdam and for the streets of the newly built city centre of Beirut, exhibition stands for the Dutch Open University and Randstad, and many other projects.
In 2002 he started his own studio, JJB Environmental Design.
JJB operates within a network of specialists: typographers, dtp operators, product designers, interaction designers, audiovisual designers etc.For every project, a tailor-made team is set up. Thus, projects of different kinds and sizes can be handled with a maximum of efficiency and inspiration.
